If I travel, What steps should I take to help reduce my chance of getting sick

  • Avoid close contact by staying at least 6 feet (about 2 arms’ length) from anyone who is not from your household.
  • Wash your hands often or use hand sanitizer.
  • Wear a mask
  • Avoid contact with anyone who is sick.
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth.
  • Do not travel with someone who is sick.

 

Should I Wear Mask

Everyone has to wear a mask over their nose and mouth when in public. Masks slow the spread of COVID-19.

  • Some people shouldn’t wear masks:
  • Children younger than 2 years old
  • Anyone who has trouble breathing
  • Anyone who is unconscious, incapacitated, or otherwise unable to remove the mask without help

 

What Should I Do After Coming Back From Travelling

  • Stay home as much as possible.
  • Avoid being around people at increased risk for severe illness from COVID-19.
  • Consider getting tested for COVID-19.
  • Wear a mask to keep your nose and mouth covered when you are outside of your home, and including when using public transportation.
